As you know registers play an very important role in tracking the cash-flow at the store front.
Withdrawing or depositing cash to the Cash Drawer without any log can break the balancing of "expected" v/s "realized" cash during a register session.
To maintain the integrity of the system, there is a way to log your withdraws or deposits into the system.
Logging a withdrawal/deposit
- During an open register session - go to POS > Register.
- Click on Withdraw/Deposit Cash button, against the Cash-in-out table
- Select the Type as Withdraw from register. Enter the Amount and Notes against the transaction.
Select the Type as Deposit to Register. Enter the Amount and Notes against the transaction. - Click Create Withdrawal/Deposit button. That's all, your withdrawal is done. Here is now the Cash-in-out table will look like:
