Adding/updating taxes

Following is the step-by-step guide for setting up taxes in Prime:

  1. From Catalogue section, go to Taxes.


  2. Inside the Taxes list, click on +New Tax Rate button.


  3. Fill Tax type, name, description, applicable on and tax percentage.



  4. Hit the Save button. Your tax has been created. Now you can specify the item group and location group on which the tax is applicable. Notice that, now you have Item and Location - as additional tabs available.

  5. Inside Item tab of the tax click the Restrict Items button to select the items on which you'd want the tax to be applied.

    Default:  all items are selected.
  6. Similarly, inside Locations tab of the tax click the Restrict Locations button to select the locations on which you'd want the tax to be applied.

  7. Your Tax has been configured.
